Do I need a visa as an overseas Vietnamese?
Overseas Vietnamese and their immediate family members (spouses and children) are exempt from requiring a visa to enter Vietnam. This group can stay for up to 6 months without a visa.
Can I get a visa on arrival?
Visa-on-arrival is available only to travelers with a pre-approval visa letter. You can arrange this letter through your local Vietnamese embassy or a third-party travel agent before your departure. Alternatively, Vietnam offers e-visas for a stay of up to 30 days for citizens of 46 countries.

your passport (valid for at least 6 more months).
– Step 1: Go to [Vietnam’s official e-Visa website](https://www.immigration.gov.vn), complete t
form, and upload your photo and passport data page.
– Step 2: Pay the e-Visa fee and receive your document code.
– Step 3: Within 3 working days, you’ll receive your e-Visa.
– Step 4: Use your document code to check your application status and print your e-Visa.
